What Drives Me
Outside of my coursework, I’m happiest when I’m building, racing, competing, or exploring. These are the interests that shape how I think, work, and approach problems.
Prototyping, Fabrication & Technical Logic
I love bridging the gap between digital logic and physical hardware. Whether I am turning conceptual designs into functional parts using Prusa 3D printers, woodworking tools, and custom circuit prototyping, or designing complex redstone mechanics in Minecraft, I am constantly building. I thrive on creating systems that require careful technical planning, from machining physical mechanical linkages to managing custom server configurations.
Motorsport & Automotive Engineering
I have always been drawn to the speed, strategy, and engineering behind motorsport. I am a massive Formula 1 fan and love hitting the local karting tracks for some competitive racing with my two siblings. To get a closer look at the mechanics of racing, I joined the university’s Formula SAE team in first year and am a part of the breaks sub-team, which gives me a fun, hands-on perspective on automotive design and structural dynamics.
Athletics, Flight & Global Travel
I have always loved the sensation of flying. Growing up as a competitive diver taught me air awareness, which eventually translated seamlessly into competing as a varsity pole vaulter for the Golden Bears. Athletics has given me a great foundation of resilience and discipline. Beyond the track, I am passionate about exploring the world; I have traveled to every continent except for Australia and Antarctica, and I am always looking forward to my next adventure.
Intricate Lore & Strategic Gaming
I am absolutely captivated by expansive world-building and complex lore. I can easily lose hours diving into the intricate power systems and gripping narratives of Lord of the Mysteries, Black Clover, and Hunter x Hunter. This obsession with deep storytelling and strategy spills right over into how I play games. I run a custom Lord of the Mysteries Minecraft server with my friends, where half the fun is devising elaborate, multi-layered schemes and using technical game mechanics to completely outplay them. I live for the thrill of executing the perfect plan and outsmarting their competition.
